for I've been to several natural disasters over the years and the first always lending really important helping hands (water, shelter, food, clothes, blankets et al) are The Red Cross and The Salvation Army. So I've always donated to them. Very sad to hear The Salvation Army's pronouncement. One more I've now got to ponder what to do about. Initial reflex action is to cut them off yet at the same time, who's going to be there when it counts? I've been down this road before with a couple animal organizations and it is frustrating as they do good work but also put their feet in their mouth, sometimes sideways, ugh... !

Yessir But I think you can find groups in your area ...
