to around 1600 - 1800fps? I was thinking of trying some of these bullets in my 475 GNR carbine this year hunting. I know it’s a pistol bullet but I have some handy.

I have hunted with the gold dot/ deepcurl

For years in the 41GNR#2 at close to 1800fps and it holds up perfectly. I also shoot a 325 gr .475 deepcurl in my 476GNR encore pistol with a case full ish of AA1680 and it’s wonderfully accurate! Haven’t hunted with it yet, but I would be very surprised if it wasn’t a stellar performer on big game.

Here are two 210gr 41 cal gold dots recorded

They where running just under 1800fps. The open up to the cannelure, the base I have always found intact. And if you look close you can see the gold dot!
