I have friends that are mechanics that can't get parts, friends in office supplies with no inventory, friends in hospital supplies that can't get them and so on. Every phase of U.S. industry is hurting right now and there is no change in sight. Do what you can with what you can get.

Don't you know sooner or later , you will have to stand up for yourself and the only thing that can give you the strength is our Lord Jesus. Each person needs to start by showing love. If people would start trusting in Jesus and start carrying love in their hearts then the conflicts would be stopped before they start. Every person needs to start with themselves. Then read the Bible and find the truth. Then you spread the love. Start each day on guard and ready to fight for love. Each person greeted with a smile or just a kind jester will have a hard time getting mad at you. You don't have to try to change anyone. You only have to love.

And only a fool would believe the government is buying up all the ammo and guns. And it is not just guns and ammo, it has permeated the whole American industry, especially the small businesses. Every facet of business in the country is feeling these shortages and they won't stop until folks quit buying and even then it will take at least a year for these businesses to catch up.

But today people are buying everything they can get their hands on and the covid scare a year ago slowed all industries down to a crawl and they have yet to even begin to catch up. Trusting in Jesus is a great idea that I wholly believe in but that won't stop the scammers and gougers from selling ammo at 10 times the normal prices. You can talk sweet to Satan but he will still be Satan.

St Marks 12 : 31 Love wins. If only in this world it brings you peace. Then you are not worried about saving your self. Love your neighbor and he will help you with your shortages. And that doesn't mean ammo or stockpiling toilet paper or anything. You're misfit's have responded to your request to share their abundances of supplies out of love for each other. If the crazy people are going to spend great amounts of money on ammo and guns it is all for nothing because they are going to be afraid to use or enjoy them. Or they are going to have ulcers worrying about getting their money back. I would rather be at peace and enjoy my time.

Wake up. Your neighbor is probably not going to give you any of his ammo just because you tell him you love him. And you try calling the gougers on the internet and tell them you love them and see how quick they lower their prices. ED, being a Christian (probably not one of the better ones) I agree with your comments except the part about loving someone is going to get you some ammo or maybe a gun. You need to wake up and smell the petunias. The world is a totally different place than what is in your head.

I have read the Bible end to end at least 10 times and I am still a piss poor Christian and I for sure don't go around spouting chapter and verse. John Taffin and Jim Taylor are two of the most decent Christians I know and I have never seen the quoting chapter and verse.

MULTIPLY THE NUMBER OF NEW GUN OWNERS THE PAST TWO YEARS BY TWO BOXES OF AMMO AND IT WILL ACCOUNT FOR MUCH OF IT. ALSO AMMO COMPANIES MAKE AMMO NOT RAW MATERIALS. THOSE THEY HAVE TO BUY. ALSO THEY CANNOT JUST HIRE SOMEONE OFF THE STREET AND PUT THEM TO WORK. THEY HAVE TO BE TRAINED. WOULD YOU WANT UNTRAINED WORKERS PRODUCING YOUR AMMO?

Not all political, hear me out, a rabbit chase. There is a legitimate movement in our nation to instill fear and uncertainty, to destroy and weaken the economy. That makes it easier for socialist/communist fractions to incorporate their mechanisms piece by piece.

The entire pandemic, no matter politically engineered or an accident, has been expertly exploited toward the leftists benefit. The illness IS real but has been skillfully used to divide people and even turn friends against each other. Never let a crisis go to waste is their mantra.

Not to leave this as a political post it's effects on ammunition and gun shops in general are a dovetailed political/economic factor.

Folks are weary, scared, feel a lack of control. Buying weapons and becoming self sufficient subsides this to a large degree. Manufactures are behind due to the shut downs, their supply chains effected too. There is a domino effect the shutdowns created. This is magnified by the panic buying (it's more pacification buying actually in my view) and supply is greatly outstripped. Gun stores are doing fantastic business but cannot get stock. With no stock the tide quickly turns bad as they run out of stuff to sell, lay people off, or possibly go out of business. Wholesalers cannot guarantee stock or shipping dates as they are caught in the middle too. All businesses are hard it, Gun Shops uniquely, in particular.

This is not at all disappointing leftists and those desiring to keep the people of American in a general sense of fear and uncertainty, looking for the "Govt." to magically save them. A very misplaced effort.

Gary's shops are very diversified and from an business modeling should be able to better weather the storm compared to many others less fortunate. Gary has been at it a long time and has always ran 110%. It's time he paced himself, enjoy some things he's missed by working so hard all these years.
