Folks fighting to buy it!

For $30,000 of ammo. This store is only 500 sq ft. Most of the ammo came in mini barrels of both 9mm and 223 holding 1250 rounds each. You had to load your own car. Most of the barrels were broken into 50 rnd baggies. I arrived on the 4th day to find it all sold. The barrels sold for $1500 each.

Buying ammo somehow makes them feel less vulnerable, like they have some control, not completely defenseless. From thugs roaming around that may certainly be true. If the Govt. was after you they’d just drone you from 3 miles away, you not know anything. I’m all in for thug protection.

I am having to find alternates to going out and just busting caps. I can’t enjoy it right now if it feels too extravagant and wasteful. It’s not too hard to find alternatives.

I'm going to teach the boys how to shoot it. I also saw a nice looking PSE take down recurve I really like for under $150. It first behind the seat with a dozen arrows and is silent and effective to 50 yds. Interestingly enough I'm told a bow with razor broadheads will shoot through most ballistic vests not reinforced with plates. I'd rather not test that theory.

I'm not a big bowhunter but it does give a man a lot more valid outdoor time in season.

it last August for last year's hunting season and got it in march. That is all we are getting. Just back orders.

The ole gentleman I bought my 1894 CL 25/20 from a couple of years ago called me and asked if I wanted the rest of the ammo that went with it. I asked what the price was and he said 247 rounds of 75 grain and 86 grain almost a 50/50 mix for $125. If I didn’t want it he was taking it to the Tulsa gun show and charging a lot more. Heck yeah I jumped on it.

Found a relative bargain for 50 rounds at my LGS.

I saw a guy breaking those up (15) to a bag - $25.

we got a case of 300 Win Mag ammo yesterday. I ordered
