While signing up for a bowling pin competition last night I asked if they had 9mm ammo. She said yes so I said I'd take a box. Rang up to $32.05. Federal 115 gr FMJ. My LGS still sells fmj for less than 20 bucks (when they get some...).

asked the price before I said "I'll take a box" at that store. My bullet guy just called the other day to say he has a 2000 round order for me. I just placed the order 12/10. I thought that was a fantastic turnaround since I know some folks that were waiting 3 months (and maybe still waiting) on orders from their usual casters. Anyway, I'm set for a while. Just like to buy factory 9mm and 22lr if I run across it.

go for $90 to $105. Gun shops have to get ammo from distributors and they are paying considerably more for all ammo these days. So $32 is well within current limits. The least I have seen or heard about at various shops is $1 a round. We still have it a bit over $30 for 50. And that is the same mark up we normally have but it is costing us $11 a box more than it did this time last year. Like John said some shops that brag about their low prices are quoting their price when they don't have any.
