it was refinished by a gun shop. If so somebody needs to have a long talk with them.
I imagine with a lot of TLC it could be brought back, but I would have to see how deep the pits are.

weks if not months, covering one side. When they discovered it they sent it to a gun shop to put a finish on it. I have no idea why or even why the gun shop even took it in. Supposedly they put a satin black finish on it which didn't help at all. The gun could be brought back to "almost normal" but it would cost much more than it is worth.
Not at that starting price. . .
