Blue with box and papers, probably 95-98% for $2200.00. A new one costs less, just wondering what I don’t understand?
The old Pythons were of a different era, never to be seen

again. Hand fitted by skilled people with ensured old school quality. They are no more. Supply and demand. When I was in high school a new Python was $400 compared to my weekly pay of about $85 take home. A new 1979 Trans-Am was $8,500 in the showroom. Price seems about right.
Before the 1900's you could buy a Colt SAA

with a $20 Double Eagle.
If you had that same coin today you could still buy a Colt SAA.
The prices have not gone up.
The value of our money has gone down.

Investments. With gold and silver everyone wants their cut. Online brokers get from 5-15% of the sale price and who wants to pay more than the metal value per ounce? Ebay gets 10% + sales tax. The coins are nominally 90% gold or silver. I sold a 1870’s $20 piece last week and garnered $1650 total, about spot price and was glad to get it. The different grades and nuisances can make them shoot up in value. (Mine was not that special) Like a nice shooter SAA compared to a worn patina first gen rig still 3x the price!
Your statement is true, but I’d rather have the gun.
yes and no on that topic. Ask the folks in the

states and in other countries that have had their guns confiscated. If Biden gets in there is the possibility that he will try to run some type of confiscation, at least on "assault rifles". To me guns would be more sensible than gold but looking at the possibilities down the road, it is a toss up.
Socialists would not tolerate just anyone having Gold

Only the chosen Elite. Commoners must relinquish it into the common larder. They've confiscated Gold once before and levied fines.
But the smart people sent their gold to europe so it
