from my Sister-in-law in Oregon

It’s been a chaotic 10 days…we are safe and still on the ranch. Power, internet, landline were out for 9 days. We’ve been running in conserved mode on the generator. We are putting water on the property and are thankful for all the green pastures that we have established. All the four legged kids are evacuated to other locations. We are still vulnerable as the fires are still ongoing. There is somewhat of a barrier around us, a fire break created by bulldozing ground. The vulnerability is from flying embers if the fires flare up again. High winds exacerbate flying embers. There is a possible thunder and lightning storm tonight. Please keep praying. Love YOU!
