I was gifted my press in Sept 1972, yes there was smokeless powder back then. Thousands of rounds later, I primarily use it for belted magnum rounds now but have never had a single problem with it. I do clean it and occasional take it down depending on the use and lube with a dry lube such as the lube made by Hornady. I expect it will out live me and recommend this press to anyone needing a single stage press.
