I needed very little and got those few items. I'm still amazed at how the stores look these days.

Produce is nearly out of the question.

We're in great shape overall. I've picked up a few things that we were able to share. Some of the older folks aren't able physically to stand in line, then shop.

When I luck into some surplus of anything, it goes to good use.

Story from close friends ...

they were our closest companions in Africa ... now living in Indiana and running a restaurant called THE CRIMSON HOUSE.

they wrote:

God is blessing us abundantly in the midst of all of this. Crimson House is running the business through the drive thru only. As only God could do, our sales are higher than when the inside was open. Last March we had the highest sales when compared to March’s in the previous years. We felt Papa say to give out free lunches to kids once they closed schools and then we announced last week that we are now giving out free meals to senior citizens. It is AMAZING how the community is pouring into us to help feed all of these people. We have had thousands and thousands of dollars donated; someone will come in for a $2 coffee and hand us $100 tip or $1000 check….its crazy!!! Also very real to hear the stories of what people are struggling with right now. Pemba continued to prepare us for things we had no idea would be happening in the states.

A bright spot. Thanks Jim
