I read someone saying "why no one panic buys .30-06"

It stuck me a both humorous but truthful. The reason; folks who use/shoot .30-06 are just not generally the type to panic. LOL

Perhaps they are onto something there. A useful tip to put back. Maybe invest in an emergency hunting rifle, M1 or by golly a BAR! For the lean times, LOL

Heck yeah, love to have a BAR.

is I LOVE BERNIE signs in your front yard and Obama stickers on the bumper of your car. You'll be fine and it's a lot cheaper.

LOL probably very true, a looser lives here

It was a beautiful Colt made example. I think it was around $25,000 and he thought it a bargain! Back in the 80’s someone made a semi-auto closed bolt. They were pretty high ($1000?) but boy to have one these days. Lots of hillbillies have 742/7400 with 10-shot mags. That’s pretty close for domestic.

Looked at online suppliers

we started out saturday with 1000 rounds of 9mm and the same of 223 that we had stashed in the back of the shop and by the end of the day all the 9mm was gone and all but about 5 boxes of 223 were gone and that is only allowing 1 box per person. So unless we get some back orders in from our distributors we are totally out. And we are still getting calls from morons wanting to know what was the price on bulk 9mm. We tell them there is no such thing and they ask why. Must be democrats.

Our ammo shelves are full of standard ammo, like most rifle ammo and most normal handgun ammo. People see all the ammo on the shelves and ask for 9mm. We tell them we don't have any 9mm and they point to the shelves full of ammo and ask what all that is. They think we are hiding the 9mm between the 30-30 and the 300 Win Mag. They get all pissy when we tell them we don't have any 9mm. More democrats.
