In exploring the internet I just found that two pistol / revolver grip companies I have dealt with have gone out of business.
Raasco Grips in Las Vegas
Ahrends Grips in Idaho (check their website for story)

A shame...... I had Ahrends make me some grips out of 110 year old American Chestnut wood. Came out beautiful.

one of the best was Roy Fishpaw. Roy passed away

dinner I couldn't get a flight back the day after the dinner. The only flight I could get was an extra day later, so I had to stick around for a full day afterwards. I was hanging out with Roy and his wife and John linebaugh. I told them I had to stick around another 24 hours and both Roy and John changed their plans and stayed there an extra day with me. We all sat in the restaurant there at the hotel at breakfast and talked, then we talked thru lunch and continued to sit there at the booth all the way thru dinner. Just guy talk and gun talk. Roy's wife went back up into their room and relaxed there while Roy, John Linebaugh and I spent almost 24 hours just talking like we were lifelong friends. That weekend was one of the finest of my life and one I will never forget.

People from time to time mention John Linebaugh as if he were a competitor. I tell them he isn't, he is a friend, and one of the best friends a man could have. John Taffin, John Linebaugh, Hamilton Bowen and Jim Taylor. I have been blessed immensely to have such friends.

I couldn't send it to you for grips "only" though! I think if it gets sent your way it will be for a positive performance package, vapor hone re-blue, and a set of black bead blasted corian grips. Or polished blue with sorrel or aged ivory Corian. Been trying to figure that out for a year now.

Here is a pic of the American Chestnut grips Kim made for me and then I made knife handles also (Adult Ed knife making class). It was very dry and hard to work with. Kim said he would never work with it again so my grips are one of a kind.
The wood came from an Amish Chicken coop built in 1910 that a friend bought and salvaged the wood to build his kitchen cabinets. He sent me the scraps.
