Trying indeed! Only messed up 7 of 14 cases! Making up some 256GNR from new Hornady brass. Definitely a little bit of learning here.

of cold water. Take your propane torch and heat up the neck until it starts turning colors. You can watch the colors start easing up the neck. When the neck has turned a dirty brown color, tip it over in the water.That's it. Simple and I don't remember ever losing a single case.

if it helps, deprime the cases, sit them in about an inch

I’ll try it. Didn’t mind losing cases. Learning at 60..

Thats how I do it. Easy peasy.
