As always, appreciate the Misfit's opinions while making the decisions.

The 1890 will be 5 1/2" in 44-40 WCF. Uberti cuts their chambers for Starline Brass with .430" bullets seated and use .429" barrels. This cuts out many of the heartaches that can accompany 44-40s.

The Schofield Russian #3 Will be in the original 44 Russian. I have already purchased dies and will get brass ordered soon. Didn't want to add another cartridge, but chose to stick with the original chambering.

Like the Border Classic,

I want a #3 improved in 38-40 or 44-40 which Taylors did make at one point. Made of unobtainium. They have an adjustable sight. Nice fun pistol's you have there.

Well, I blame JT. But, we like the same style of guns...

Luckily, with his past work creating data, my life is easier.

Cimarron has the Schofields in several calibers. Namely the 44 Russian, 44 Special, 44-40, 45 Colt and 38 Special.

Gary does some interesting things with these too.

IS YOUR SPELL CHECK WORKING???

Was difficult to choose between the three variations offered by Cimarron.

Ended up going with the No.3 Russian on the first round due to it's availability in the original caliber.

May or may not add more in time. But, wanted to try one.

Ditto on the 1890...

ACTUALLY YOU GOT IT BACKWARDS HUEY. YOU NEED TO

BRUSH UP ON YOUR "THREE-SIES" AMERICAN 1870; RUSSIAN 1873; SCHOFIELD 1875.

I'll do that in my spare time..
