developed a longer version of it. That cartridge has a couple of names, like the 475 Long or the 475 1.6. Some customers found it confusing so way back 20 years ago we started calling it the 475 Maximum. We did the same with john's 500 Linebaugh when he came up with the longer version, it became the 500 maximum. The name was a bit less confusing to some. So that is what JR was talking about, the 475 Maximum. Kelly Brost had a lot of the brass made up with the 475 Maximum headstamp and I think Hornady had some with the 500 maximum headstamp.
