I really enjoy the history of firearms. It cannot avoid world politics many times. Marketing and distribution is interesting but admittedly, a bit nerdy. From some pot metal cheap rig to my overpriced (my view) HK45 Tactical, (which Roman absolutely loves) I enjoy evaluating them on their individual merits.
Personal preference is subjective and I am certainly in no position to knock anyone's choices. I've go my own bad ones to make.lol
Go to the HK forum and tell them that. LOL

that will change you mind about overpriced pretty quick. The most accurate out of the box pistols built bar none and well built for reliability. Carried exclusively by many ELITE forces worldwide. The Tactical ELITE was replaced by the MK23 around the mid 90"s. Both are outstanding pistols and sought after.

something to brag about. Kase and I have had both of them. Overly heavy and cumberson and a so so trigger pull. No better than a Glock which most of the elite teams are using. Having any HK pistol is just for bragging rights. And these days it doesn't even get you that. That phase went out in the mid 90s.

an e-mail from some guy who starts it off with 'a friend told me you said --- about this gun. I think you are full of shit". And it goes downhill from there. Usually i just tell them Thanks for the info and have a great day. Arguing with them serves no purpose.
