Contender forend
Will the contender forend fit your 338 gnr barrel? Is it frame specific? Im still learning about contenders and what is interchangeable with what.
which 338 barrel? we build them in several shapes. The
the forend that we had would fit any standard tc barrel. It was sold Saturday.
Forend
Its the 338barrel that was the christmas sale special. I found a forend locally but it has 2 mounting holes and the barrel only has one, does the barrel need to be machined for a second mounting hole? The mounting hole it has lines up with one hole on the forend
you only need the rear hole. Ernie French, who was
the head honcho at TC's custom shop for years told me one time that they only did the one rear hole in the custom barrels. We usually do that but for some reason people whine and bitch if the barrel only has the one hole.
