I have been trying to find a clamp on scope mount to try on my DW 44. Are any of you misfits aware of anyplace that might have one? I think that the one thar needs the shroud drilled and taps requires the rear sight to be removed and I want to leave it mounted.

Thanks

Years ago I used a B-Square alloy rib mount

it was very well made and had little brass allen stops to lock it in position after you got it clamped. If I saw one on Ebay I'd have to snag it.

Strike that, like gold now! $$$

B-square made some very strange stuff. Went places no one would even think about, and they pulled it off acceptably most times. One of the first I used was a side mount for a Mini-14 180 series. It worked great. It was the wild 70's.

You don't have to take the rear sight off either.

I think that was marketed by Weaver.
