a change about every 10 or 12 years or so. The music of the late 50s and early 60s was termed rock but was more pop. The British invasion of the mid 60s changed everything with the Beathes and the stones and all the rest. Then into the late 60s we had Easy Rider and psychedelic rock. Into the mid 70 we got what I used to call head banger music or heavy metal. Late 70s and into the 80s we have electronic rock that eased into disco. Then from there it changed again as it always does. By the mid 80s I had retired from radio so I wasn't up on it as much as I had in the past. Either way, it's only rock & roll, and I like it.
