and the AR was chosen for our troops. So automatically it became "the best" in a lot of folk's minds. A good friend who was in the 101st and doing a lot of LRPs told me when he went out he carried an AR-18 (the full auto version) because it always worked. He told me the Aussie camp was near them and he would take a case of beer over to the Aussies at night and trade it for an AR-18. He was the one that got me into using the AR-180.
