update on the fire

I watched the tanker planes dump the red retardant on the fire all day. A couple of the choppers carried the large "buckets" of water that they doused ahead of the fire while one or two moved the Hotshots around to where they were needed the most. There were several small spotter planes that gave the big tanker planes the coordinates on where to drop the red retardant. As it got dark we could still see the fire in the sky but with the wind dying down, hopefully they will have it mostly contained by morning.
