Larry, all AR-10s were designed for the 308. You are beating

yourself in the head over nothing. All AR-10 lowers are either cast or cut from billets. But the billets were also cast so you are making a mountain out of a mole hill. And worrying over them being "milled correctly" is a misnomer. They are milled by a CNC machine and a CNC machine doesn't do anything incorrectly. They are done to a precise program. We are working on a couple of AR-10s right now that will eventually be chambered in a couple of our new calibers and the 2 guns are the same except for the name on the receiver. We built a couple in 450 Bushmaster a while back before everybody else started doing so and they were also the same, except for the name. So if you want a good AR-10, take your pick. For all practical purposes they are the same.
