afternoon. I have not shot the 455 for sometime now, so I thought I'd spend a little time dinging my steel plate. But where I shoot is also one of the places I shoot chucks, so the 300 GNR also got thrown in.
It has been awhile since I've been out here and as I drove in there was a chuck on a piece of concrete sunning himself, also I noticed the damage to a wheat field they have been doing.
The first one I wanted to take with the 455 GNR and this guy gave me the 35 yd opportunity. A cast 260 gr. 454424 and some HS-6 did the honors.
After that the 455 was swapped out for the 300. My son had received a new mould from NOE, a 117 gr. flat nose that I really wanted to try out. I think I am going to really like this bullet.
Three more chucks fell to the 300 GNR and it's new little bullet from between 40-60 yds. And I still got to spend some time with the 455 GNR afterwards.

I had thought it would be a 455 GNR
