They were LWAYS SEXY LOOKING FOR A PISTOL, I HAD ONE MADE BY SIMPSON CO, OF SUHL. WHILE I WAS IN GERMANY WITH THE ARMY I FOUND THAT WALTHER HAD JUST FAILED TO HAVE THEIR POLICE P38 ADOPTED BY THE FRG POLIZEI AND THEY WERE SELLING THEM AS SURPLUS ON THE AMERICAN BASES THROUGH THE GUN CLUBS. THEY SHOT EXTREMELY WELL, BUT THE LUGER LOOKED SEXIER. STILL, I CONVINCED MYSELF THAT THE P38 WAS HALF .45 AND HALF LUGER!
