so you can install a longer cylinder. My old K-frame Kay-Chuck had a 1.6" cylinder. I ended up about halving the long neck of a .22 K-hornet to make it fit and look right. The actual window on a Single-six is longer, if you are re-doing the barrel anyway you are wide open.
I have a 8-shot on a BH but to do it again I'd at largest go to a .357 OM chassis. The Single-size really sound neat. I did some work with the .240 Banshee in the single shot and was surprised it out performed the .25 cal. a bit as far as flat trajectory. It would be interesting too.
