surgery went well. The surgeon said that the joint had bone to bone contact and that was why she was in such pain. The knee joint HAD to be replaced. I am amazed at the advances in medical pain relief since 2001 when I had my 6 bypass surgery. She may come home tomorrow so she will have the physical therapy to finish over the next 5 to 6 weeks and she should be good to go for a hike! Thank you to all for your prayers. The power of prayer is amazing.
