gunsmiths or individuals. We are a licensed manufacturer so we have to go by a lot of rules. Any gun we change the caliber on and change it from one model of gun to another, we have to put 4 things on every gun. For instance if we take a Ruger Blackhawk and turn it into an African Hunter or Alaskan Hunter or whatever, it is no longer a Ruger Blackhawk in 357. So we have to take all the Ruger writing off and put the new Model name on the barrel along with the new caliber on the frame etc. I can't leave the old manufacturer's name on the gun anymore (new rules) as that is co-branding. Several Glock customizers got nasty letters from the ATF letting them know they couldn't do that anymore. The 4 things are...
1. the model name
2. maker's mark (Reeder custom,Flagstaff, AZ)
3. caliber
4. serial number
And they have to be just as shown in the pics as that is how the various series are registered as one of our guns.
