Of the “New Vaquero” is on a slightly bigger frame? 2 oz might not be enough weight difference considering the bigger holes in the cylinder and barrel. But it might be.
The bottom line is, nope, shouldnt get a 357 version and have it changed to 356GNR,,, unless you want a 5 shot version.
