The cheaper version of the Huntsman. Wonderful little .22 auto. You can pretty easily figure how to slip the slide off the frame for cleaning, but it has this little button on top. It sticks up and even has little ridges on it for traction with the thumb. I had pushed it before and nothing happened. But never with the slide off the frame.

I took it to the local Gunsmith (Orville Sutton a great man RIP) in a cigar box. Orville took out his pipe, scraped it with his pocket knife and beat it on his shoe. "Colt .22?" Yes Sir. "You pushed the button didn't you?" Yes Sir. All he said was "Yep".

That cost me $17.50 when I was making $2.65 an hour. I learned a much more valuable lesson.
