got started by a couple of wannabe experts on the Dan Wessons. Whenever a company moves from one location to another all of a sudden the guns from the old address were better. Just like the Marlins. Even though the old tooling was totally worn out and the guns sloppy, when the new folks bought them, all of a sudden the old ones were better guns. And some idiot even stated that the very best guns had the JM stamp on the side. The JM was just a proof mark that was stamped on EVERY Marlin lever gun.
So don't get all hot and mushy over the DWs that were made in Monson. They are all of equal quality and all excellent revolvers.
