successful. We did it with the XP-100 with interrupted threads where all you had to do was put the barrel in, turn is half a turn and screw in a screw that was on the side of the action. It came in 22-250, 243 and 308. It worked for a while but eventually started loosening up and we dropped it shortly after that. It was like most take down rifles. As long as you leave it in the case it came in and don't take it apart and put it together a dozen times, it will be fine but it is not meant to be taken apart and put back together every time you go out and shoot. The little browning 22 auto take down is the same. After a few times taking it down and putting it back together the front ring won't tighten up completely and it eventually wobbles even when it is as tight is you can get it.

The Blaser system may be different and may last a while but with constant taking apart it will eventually loosen up.
