it performs much better, top speeds up with H110/296 in the .356 GNR ctg. I have no explanation, it just does. It is really a lot for stable and consistent. However I still use WW Mag marked primers ("For Standard or Magnum Loads" - on the box). I was getting 1500-1550 fps from my 6.5" Ruger BH.
Actually I begin by looking over old .357 Maximum loads and work my around them. 1680 does well too but I have not chrono'd them.
