8x57mm Mauser Remington 700 Classic...

In late 2004, I bought the yearly Rem 700 Classic in 8x57mm. My Dad was a die hard believer in it and the 7x57mm.

He thought the gun was too nice to shoot. It was just his way.

He died in 2005, so the gun never got used.

Today I scoped the gun. I don't believe in rushing into these things. A quality 3-9x 50mm scope was mounted in Warne hardware.

Quality of these guns was terrific. What has happened to this quality?

Im considering a set trigger. Any recommendations?
