The .356 GNR is great. Depending on what you shot it from

really changes the dynamics. In a revolver it will easily shoot a 180 gr. cast bullet over 1500 fps. Swap to a 10-12" single shot and it jumps to near 2000 fps. For a carbine it gets even higher, 200-300 fps maybe!

The .401 GNR is even more exotic than the normal "Shootists" .41 cal. I really like it and think it's underrated and destined to be a bigger hit yet, as more discover it and find easy ways to custom taylor bullets to their applications. Sort of a baby .410 GNR but on a 6-shot platform. It would be a big debate comparing it to the .41 GNR, I'll bow out of that. Basically a sensible magnum version of the .38-40 that works in a wheelgun cylinder and will not get confused to blow any old antique gun.
