We just got this in and wanted to give you first shot at it. This is an early Bearcat, from early 1958. First, here are some of the pictures..
Now here is the unusual part of this. My book says the very early Bearcats had serial numbers starting with the letter F and starting at number F100. This gun is F172..
Another thing I find that tells me it is one of the very first Bearcats made is that there is no caliber markings on it at all. It is a 22 LR but that caliber is not on the gun anywhere. So we have a very early and unusual Bearcat. The book shows $500 to $550 as the value of the gun in it's current excellent condition. The gun is very tight with no slop. Looks like it has been carried a lot but shot a little. I have it at a sale price of $325 plus shipping.
