300 gr bullets, and it makes a really fun gun. With the muzzle break my grandson had no trouble shooting it when he was 12. I even take it rabbit and coyote hunting sometimes. With the hard bullets it just makes a nice 1/2” hole through them, unless you hit a large bone then sometimes it looks like they stood on a land mine.
