Fellow Misfit bestowed these upon me

they are fired CCI alloy berdan primed cases. I turned the rims off them and find they mic exactly 0.452". I hope to play with them and have some fun. The alloy seems very soft and usable, in the lathe it cut like chilled butter. I was wondering how fast the basement projectile trick was pushing these (well actually brass) so I may find out. Also they could be a dandy sabot jacket (I.D. is about 0.410") or perhaps contain a payload of snakeshot. I'll leave them on my desk to simmer a day or two.

By gripping them at the web they turn down to shorten nicely in the lathe, for custom lengths.
