featherweight in 30-06 that came in on consignment. The gun is in excellent shape with a few honest hunting dings and scratches. The bore is perfect. By the date it is late 1955 or early 1956. On gunbroker they are shown at $925 to 975 in this condition. This one belongs to the same estate that the 41 Magnum Redhawk snubbie belonged to. It is sale priced at $750 plus shipping and for a good solid 1956 era Winchester Model 70, that isn't bad at all. You can't find a funky nylon stocked Winchester for that price today.
