Can you convert it to one of your cartridges? Not sure what I want to do with it just yet as I won’t be able to get it out of Commifornias prison system until the 18th of November. Was $600 with a Leupold VX-IIc and a bipod. Bipod will have to go! I’m thinking something in the .243 to .257 range.

Larry, no matter what you go to the barrel has to be changed

so pick out one that you like. Any of our almost 70 custom cartridges can be chambered in your #1.

Doug's .500 NE was .300 Win. Mag., the .500 S&W was a .270.

A long barreled 257 would be pretty slick.

I have a 21" 257GNR Encore. 120gr to 3000 is a lot of fun

.. slower that my 25-06 in a 28" barrel. That's awesome.

the 257 GNR has approx. 18% more case capacity

than the 25-06 and in a 24" barrel will hit 3300 easily with your foot off the gas.

And 2" of that is muzzle brake
