It took me a while. But, Tank Hoover and a couple others convinced me to try them and they're great.

I have been stocking up and loading the on a regular basis.

Not surpringly, my Reeder 38 Super TG got the first rounds. It done so well, I'm now loading them in lots of cartridges.

Just got some for my 25-20s and 250 GNR today. The saga continues...

I have had excellent results, need to start doing my own

Been impressive. As always, I show up later to the show. But, generally get there.

Hard to screw it up, and I've tried!

Once I forgot the time/temp and literally melted the lead inside the coated shell! Only on one or two where the shell had a void some leaked out a bead. Otherwise I'd have never known. It was way too hot! Can't trust the dial.

Wonder how that works on a Glock barrel.

that would be very good. A .401 sized cast bullet after coating well should be about .403", just right for a Glock. a 9mm would be .357-8". I've shot plain cast .358" out of a 9mm factory Glock just fine.

My 9mm, 10mm and .45 Glock barrels (now) are all Lone Wolf and normal rifling. I powder coat, cook, then final size to .356,.401, or .452. The coating usually is 0.002-0.003" thick after heating to a hard poly plate. I got mine at Harbor Freight.

Been coating for 3 years. Never lube again.

mentioned in the new Gun Notes was talking about, although it said for polymer bullets.

The coating is a polymer. But, I've had no trouble...
