I see one hand gunner in magazines with what amounts to a portable Benchrest. He's supposed to be in the game field. I guess he just packs it around and has time to set up?!
I use a Stoneypoint Mono-pod. It's a great walking stick and useful if not too sturdy shooting staff. In truth a good stick works about as good. I like it. Never used a bi-pod set of sticks. That may be the stuff.
I made several sets from river cane. Light and they worked too. My revolver blew some tips away with cylinder wash, my bad technique.
