I posted the mention yesterday that Puff's death made me think a bit and reminded me to get my act together, make sure my will was done and the insurance paperwork is finished. Then I woke up this morning with a nagging thought. What if Colleen goes before I do. I guess her being on the road a lot with her Jack Russells made me think of this. She is up in northern California this weekend and was in Washington state a couple of weeks back plus the Nationals in Maryland before that.
I guess we always assume we will be the first to go but that isn't always the way it goes. I need to make sure she has a current will. I don't think she has one at all. With her being 21 years younger than me I guess we both assume I will be the first to go. Now I have a double list of things to do starting today. Just because I am older than her doesn't mean anything really. It is all up to God who goes first.
Not trying to be morbid and get anyone down on a beautiful Sunday morning, but wanted to pass this on. To be honest I was reluctant to open up the forum this morning. I have always heard these things come in 3s. I sure hope and pray it is just an old wives tale. Besides I am out of Kleenex.
