wondering if I can use 44mag starting loads which are around the 26,000psi range vs the full power 44mag 36,000psi range. It has a 5" barrel and I want to make full use of it. Can the 5 shot GP100 handle these 26,000psi loads? Plan on using a 240gr GCHC bullet in the 1050 to 1200fps range. The loading manuals for 44 Special are pretty much low power ranges for SAA type revolvers.
