A little more info on the 250 GNR Trail Gun...

Yesterday was the final testing for a while. I will try more powders, but the ones I wanted to try all worked. In fact, all exceeded any expectations I had dreamed up.

I made 21 cases from 32 Magnum and 7 cases from 327 Federal. Have no idea how many times they were reloaded. My technical term is "a lot." Case loss stands at zero.

So, I'd you're worried about case life, put it out of your head.

Another note (which I did on purpose) about small bore fouling. I did not clean the gun throughout two weeks of testing. Clean up was five minutes. No leading and the smooth barrel bore wiped clean with little effort.

Interest in this little cartridge is strong and with good reason. It's a KISS wildcat that performs way beyond it's small size would indicate.
