or shady ladies in New Orleans, I would leave it as a 45-70. It is such a good caliber and can be used on anything from fire ants in Florida to Brown Bears in Alaska. If the gun were mine I would do one of 2 things to it. Either slick it up with a new finish, nice engraving, good butt pad, maybe a brake if recoil isn't your bag, and make it a special hunting rifle to hand down to a son or daughter. The other option would be to trade it in toward credit on a custom handgun for the next HHC.
