that couldn't stand any changes, no matter if they were better or not. For a hunting gun, I would just as soon have a post 64 as a pre 64. Just like when the Brownings began to be made in Japan, every old goat in the world started bitching. The fact is the Jap guns were and are better guns. The old tooling in Belgium was worn out and the guns coming out were loose. The Jap guns were hand fitted, hand checkered and were made of a much better steel. But you couldn't tell the old goats that refused to accept any change.
