the POI will be close enough. I've thought the same, I have one myself. The ctgs. you mentioned all have pretty standard loadings easy to regulate. I like that .38 Super idea myself.
If you caved in and went with an interchangeable front, that would help with the issue. I like the idea of a stock look, sights and all, with a custom chambering. But it still has to hit POA.
