I just spoke with my older brothers wife.

Heis in the hospital with Pneumonia, the infectious kind. When Dee goes in to see him, she has to wear a mask.

He did not want her to tell us, so some delay.

Apparently he has had a bad cough for some time that they tried to treat with steroids and antibiotics without success.

Additional Xray showed that he needed more care so hospital came into the picture.

In addition, they found a mass about the size of a quarter in one lung and wanted to do a needle biopsy.

Skip is insistent that he does not want that and after consulting with the Dr. a decision was made not to put him through
the test and or surgery and or chemo taking into consideration his age, desires and Alzheimers.

He just wants to go home. I am sure that the Alzheimers has a lot to do with it.

Dee seems to be ok, not happy but handling it. She has determined to leave it in God’s hands and is asking for prayer.

Dee says her kids are a major help and she has let Skip's kids know.

Don't know what else to say, except to ask for prayers.

I asked if she needed me to come up and she said no, not at this time.

I am pretty sure that we will not have him for long.

I would very much appreciate your prayers.
