some Russian powder called Salut (25 lb keg) that is recommended for 1911s. I use 5.5grains of Salut with a 230 ball and for a bit hotter load I use 5 grains of Red Dot and a 230 ball. But I have been using Salut for at least 25 years and still have maybe 10 or 12 lbs of it. I think I got the Salut from GI Brass.com
