Mena had a nice little airport and was a prominent drug entry point when Clinton was governor. He and his friends used down on their luck Viet Nam Veteran pilots to fly low under surveillance radar from Columbia to Mena. A famous helicopter pilot I knew flew that route and eventually got busted. Clinton was never charged.
